About
indie Queer was conceived in 2006 to offer Madison’s LGBTQA community a fresh and cutting edge solution to the void of Queer Nightlife, supporting locally owned establishments critical to Madison’s entertainment scene, and promoting Queer spaces to the community at large.
iQ Night started december 2006 @ Mickeys bar in Madison, WI. In 2007, iQ’s popularity grew with monthly parties at the King Club and random iQ nights at other Madison hot spots. With the closing of the KING CLUB in early 2008, indieQueer explored new concepts for club parties and is proving to revolutionize Madison’s indie Queer dance party scene.
In 2008 indieQueer started downtown Madison’s biggest and most anticipated dance party: iQ DISCOTECH, once a Month @ the Majestic Theatre featuring regional DJs.
In 2009, IQ Night became a travelling party happening at least once a month at one of various membered venues. In late summer of 2009, iQ decided to take a break to allow the market to adjust organically to the addition of Madisons 1st downtown LGBT CLUB in over 10 years take form: PLAN B. For now, iQ is doing Special Events only and will resume a monthly party schedule in January 2010.
Check the calendar for upcoming IQ Parties!

Hi,
I probably should have sent this sooner, but next Sunday (OCT 19) Sabbat de sade is doing a Candyland theme which is always promoted as queer friendly. But, this is another newbie night and I’d love to attract some extra queers to let them know they’re always welcomed and appreciated.
This month we will be raising money for the AIDS Network of Madison. If you could pass the word on, that’d be awesome!!!
